A GIFT TO THE THE FEED MY SHEEP FUND
Haiti is in a state of crisis - a failed state with no elected officials and gangs in control of the areas around the capital of Port au Prince. The International Airport remains closed, and UNICEF says Haiti is in the midst of a humanitarian nightmare.
In the last year, one million people have fled the violence in Port au Prince and have scattered all over the country.
An overwhelming number of these refugees have arrived in the area near Emmanuel with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They are tired, discouraged, homeless and hungry.
We have set up the Feed My Sheep Fund to assist these refugee families with food, housing and education for their children. They will settle into the community and be able to provide for themselves, but they must first have food and a place to live.
We purchase food both locally and in containers from the US and distribute it through our churches. Unlike large organizations, your donations are often used to purchase food within days rather than weeks.
